Blackrod

Blackrod is a former mining village between Bolton and Wigan, easily reached from M61 Junction 6. The A6 runs through its centre, connecting the major towns, whilst local routes serve nearby Horwich and Adlington. The area has over 200 EV charging points. The 12th-century parish church houses a remarkable medieval wooden knight effigy carved from solid oak.
