Blackbird Leys

Blackbird Leys is a large housing estate in southeast Oxford, built mainly in the 1960s as part of the city's post-war expansion. Take the A4074 Ring Road south from Oxford centre, exiting at Blackbird Leys Road. The A34 provides connections to the M40 and M4, whilst the A40 brings traffic from London. The estate has over 150 EV charging points nearby and sits close to several Park and Ride sites. The community centre houses one of Oxford's last remaining public swimming pools, built in distinctive 1970s style.
