Battlefield, MO

Battlefield is a small Missouri city of 6,000 people located 15 minutes southwest of Springfield via Highway 160. The town sits in the Ozark foothills and serves as a quiet residential community for Springfield commuters. Highway 160 provides the main east-west route, while Highway 125 runs north-south toward Branson. Springfield-Branson National Airport is about 20 minutes away via Highway 160 and I-44. The city takes its name from the nearby Wilson's Creek National Battlefield, site of a major 1861 Civil War battle.
