Appietown

Appietown occupies central Mainland Orkney, reachable via the A965 from either Stromness or Kirkwall ferries. The area serves as a junction for local routes connecting Harray, Brough and surrounding farming settlements. With over 30 fast chargers across Orkney, it's well-equipped for electric vehicles. The name derives from the local pronunciation of "happy town," coined by residents who built around one of the islands' most productive fishing harbours.
