Adelaide

Adelaide lies in the Eastern Cape, up against the Winterberg foothills near the Kat River, in sheep and citrus farming country. The R63 runs right through, linking it to Fort Beaufort and Bedford, with Cradock and the N10 or N2 as the usual approach from PE or East London side. Bedford and Fort Beaufort are quick hops for locals, while visitors have rocked up from as far as Saldanha and Lutzville, nearly 1000 km away. EV charging is scarce round here, so charge up before you leave the bigger towns. Look out for the 1856 Dutch Reformed church on the main square, still the heart of the dorp.
