Acton Scott

Acton Scott is a small Shropshire village about 10 miles south of Shrewsbury on the A49. The area's rolling countryside and traditional farming heritage make it a quiet rural destination. Access is straightforward via the A49 trunk road or the B4370 from Church Stretton through the Long Mynd. The village is famous for its Historic Working Farm, where Victorian farming techniques are still demonstrated using heavy horses instead of tractors.
