Hyndfordbridge-end lies in South Lanarkshire's Clyde Valley, accessible via the A73 which connects to the M74 at Carstairs Junction. Glasgow is 45 minutes northeast, whilst Lanark sits 5km southwest on local roads. The settlement takes its name from its position at the end of the historic Hyndford Bridge crossing point over the River Clyde.
