Hummersknott is a residential area just west of Darlington in County Durham, positioned on gentle hills overlooking the Tees Valley. The A67 provides the main route through the district, whilst the nearby A1(M) and A66 offer connections to Newcastle, the Lake District, and beyond. With approximately 70 public EV charging points locally and Teesside Airport 25km east, it's well-connected for modern travel. The name derives from Norse origins, with "knott" meaning small hill.
