You'll reach it easily from the M9 motorway, about 120 kilometres south of Dublin, or via the N10 from Waterford through Kilkenny city. The town serves as a useful junction for getting around this part of Leinster, with decent roads connecting to nearby villages and Kilkenny city for shopping or work.
