Hounslow Heath

Hounslow Heath occupies former common land between Heathrow and London, once notorious for highway robberies along the old coaching routes. The A4 Great West Road provides the main connection, running east to central London and west to the M4, with the A315 and A30 offering additional links to Surrey and the M25. The Bath Road still traces the original coaching route where highwaymen once operated in the 18th century.
