Houghall lies just outside Durham city, reached via the A177 through Shincliffe in about five minutes from the city centre. The A1(M) sits ten kilometres east for longer journeys, whilst the A690 heads west toward the Durham Dales. With over 200 EV charging points nearby and Durham University's agricultural campus, it's home to working farms where students study practical land management.
