Horseleap sits along the N52 between Tullamore and Mullingar, making it a handy stop for anyone crossing the midlands. You're about 15 kilometers from Tullamore and 20 from Mullingar, with easy access via the M4 or M6 from Dublin. The area has decent golf courses at Tullamore and Esker Hills, plus whiskey tours at both Tullamore and Kilbeggan distilleries if you fancy a drop. Electric car drivers will find around 30 fast charging stations scattered about the region. The town gets its name from a legendary horse that supposedly leaped across the local river, a tale that's stuck around for centuries.
