Horner lies deep in Exmoor's wooded valleys, reached via the A39 to Porlock then down steep lanes into ancient oak woodland. Popular with walkers exploring the East Lyn River valley, it's about 10km from Minehead and connects to nearby villages like Luccombe via narrow country roads. The 500-year-old packhorse bridge remains the focal point, its worn stones testament to centuries of crossings.
