Hormead comprises two small Hertfordshire villages, Great and Little Hormead, nestled in gentle countryside near the Essex border. Reach it via the A10 through Buntingford, about 45km north of London's M25. The area offers over 90 EV charging points nearby, with Stansted Airport 25km southeast. The parish church of St Nicholas boasts remarkable 13th-century wall paintings, including a rare surviving St Christopher mural.
