Hopkins is a Twin Cities suburb perfectly positioned between Minneapolis and the western metro area. I-494 runs along the southern edge with direct airport access, while Highway 169 provides a quick 15-minute route to downtown Minneapolis. Highway 7 cuts east-west through town, connecting the broader metro area. The city's compact 10-square-mile area houses nearly 19,000 residents, making it one of Minnesota's densest communities. Hopkins is home to the historic Depot Coffee House, housed in a restored 1900 Great Northern Railway depot.
