Hoo Meavy is a small Dartmoor village reached via the A386 through Yelverton, about 12km north of Plymouth. The 13th-century church of St. Andrew houses a remarkable medieval rood screen with painted saint panels, amongst Devon's finest surviving church art from before the Reformation.
