Holywood, Dumfries and Galloway

Holywood lies just north of Dumfries in Scotland's southwest, connected by the A75 which runs toward Stranraer and the Irish ferries. The A76 from Kilmarnock and A701 from Edinburgh provide main access routes. With over 20 EV charging points nearby and its position overlooking the Nith valley, it's well-placed for onward travel. The village name derives from a sacred medieval grove that sheltered pilgrims bound for Whithorn Abbey.
