Holywell Bay lies 8km southwest of Newquay via the A3075, accessible through Cubert village. The expansive beach features dramatic sand dunes and offers excellent surfing conditions. Most notable is the holy well itself - a stone-lined spring inside a cave that's only reachable at low tide, giving this Cornish bay its distinctive name.
