Hindpool

Hindpool forms part of Barrow-in-Furness, sitting on Cumbria's Furness Peninsula just a kilometre from the town centre. Drivers arrive via the A590 from the M6 near Kendal, whilst the A5087 provides coastal access around the peninsula. The area benefits from about 16 public EV charging points and enjoys a mild maritime climate with regular Atlantic weather. The district's name derives from Old Norse "hind," referring to the red deer that once grazed these coastal plains.
