Higher Ninnis is a small Cornish settlement near Redruth, accessible via the A393 and surrounded by former mining communities like St. Day and Vogue. The A30 provides onward connections across Cornwall, whilst local roads create a network of short journeys between neighbouring villages. Electric vehicle charging is readily available in nearby Redruth. The village sits on elevated ground above Lower Ninnis, taking its name from the Cornish word for valley.
