Heylor

Heylor occupies a strategic position in northern Shetland, connected to the rest of the islands by the A970 from Lerwick. The 35-kilometre drive passes through classic Shetland moorland and scattered crofting communities, whilst local roads link nearby settlements like Assater and Hillswick within minutes. During summer, visitors experience the remarkable simmer dim, when twilight persists through the night across this northernmost Scottish landscape.
