Hertford, the Hertfordshire county town, sits where four rivers meet in the Lea Valley, 20 miles north of London. The A414 runs straight through town, linking the M25 at Junction 23 with Harlow and the M11, whilst the A10 from London connects via Cheshunt. With over 200 EV charging points locally and easy access to Ware and Stevenage, it's a proper transport hub. The 15th-century castle gatehouse still dominates the town centre, a reminder of when Parliament met here in 1563.
