Helton is a small Cumbrian village just off the A6 between Penrith and Kendal, easily reached from M6 Junction 39. Popular routes include the scenic A6 from Penrith and quiet country lanes to Askham and Bampton. With around 19 EV charging points nearby, it's a good base for exploring both Ullswater and the Eden Valley. The village features a remarkably well-preserved 17th-century pele tower.
