Helperby

Helperby is a small North Yorkshire village in the Vale of York, reached via the A168 from York (25km) or the A1(M) from further afield. Local routes connect through Cundall to Thirsk and surrounding market towns. The village sits near RAF Topcliffe in typical Yorkshire farmland. St. Peter's Church houses a remarkable 12th-century Norman font with some of the region's finest Romanesque stone carving.
