Heathgates forms part of Shrewsbury's northern suburbs, easily reached via the A49 from either direction or the A53 from Market Drayton. The area connects well to Shrewsbury's centre just 3km south, with good links to the wider Shropshire road network. You'll find over 30 EV charging points around greater Shrewsbury. The district's name comes from the original heath gates that once controlled access to medieval common grazing land.
