Hawkswick is a small Yorkshire Dales village in Littondale, reached via narrow country roads from Grassington (10km) or Kettlewell (6km). Most visitors follow the B6160 before turning onto minor dale roads through Arncliffe. The village sits beneath Pen-y-ghent, one of Yorkshire's Three Peaks, whose flat-topped summit dominates the northern skyline.
