Hartlip is a small Kent village between the Medway towns and Sittingbourne, reached via M2 Junction 5 then the A249. Local routes connect through Stockbury and Newington along quiet country lanes through orchards. The 12th-century All Saints church contains a rare surviving medieval wooden screen.
