Harrington, Cumbria

Harrington lies on Cumbria's coast along the A596 between Workington and Whitehaven, with easy access via the A595 from the M6. Long-distance visitors typically exit at Junction 40 near Penrith, whilst locals use short hops along the coastal road to Workington just 4km away. The town sits on the coastal plain with Lake District fells rising eastward, and roughly 15 fast EV chargers serve the area. The Victorian Harrington Reservoir remains the town's centrepiece, originally built to supply the local ironworks.
