Harpsdale is a small Caithness settlement on the A99 between Thurso and Wick. The main route runs 25km east from Thurso or west from Wick, with the A882 providing an inland alternative via Halkirk. About 4 EV charging points serve the area. The village retains its old railway station building from the Far North Line, though passenger services ceased in 1960.
