Harlescott

Harlescott forms part of Shrewsbury's northern suburbs, easily reached via the A49 from either direction or the A528 Ellesmere Road from the town centre. The A5 nearby connects to Telford and the M54 for longer journeys, whilst local roads link to Sundorne and other neighbouring areas. The suburb developed as Shrewsbury expanded northward, maintaining a residential character whilst offering good access to both the county town and the surrounding Shropshire countryside. Harlescott Junior School has served the local community since the 1960s.
