Harlech

Harlech perches dramatically on cliffs above Tremadog Bay, its medieval castle commanding sweeping views across to the Llŷn Peninsula. The A496 coastal road provides the main approach, connecting north to Porthmadog and south to Barmouth through stunning Snowdonia scenery. With over 20 EV charging points nearby and excellent access to both national park and coast, it's a popular base for exploring North Wales. The castle's gatehouse towers rise directly from the cliff face in an almost sheer wall of stone.
