Hallsenna lies in Cumbria's coastal plain where the Lake District meets the Irish Sea, connected primarily by the A595 coastal route. Popular drives include short coastal hops to Seascale and Ravenglass, whilst longer routes bring visitors from Manchester via the M6 and A590. The nearby Ravenglass Roman Bath House boasts some of northern England's tallest surviving Roman walls.
