Hale End
England
England
Hale End occupies the northeastern fringe of London, bordering Epping Forest where suburban streets give way to ancient woodland. The A104 provides the main route in from central London, whilst the A406 North Circular connects to the wider motorway network. Local drivers know the area for its proximity to both Walthamstow's transport links and the forest's walking trails. The 1930s parade along Hale End Road still houses one of the area's last traditional fishmongers, complete with jellied eels.
