Gurnard

Gurnard is a quiet coastal village on the Isle of Wight's northwest shore, overlooking the Solent toward Hampshire. Reached via ferry then the A3021 west from Cowes (3km), it's more residential retreat than tourist hotspot. The village offers excellent sunset views across the water and maintains a peaceful, retirement-friendly atmosphere away from the island's busier sailing centres.
