Groombridge

Groombridge straddles the Kent-East Sussex border in the High Weald, reached via the A264 from Tunbridge Wells or A21 from London. The village centres on its railway station and the historic Groombridge Place, a moated 17th-century manor house with formal gardens that appeared in Peter Greenaway's film "The Draughtsman's Contract."
