Groby
England
Groby is a former mining village in Leicestershire that's grown into a sizable community whilst keeping its rural feel. The A50 runs straight through, connecting to Leicester city centre in 8km and the M1 within 10 minutes. It's handy for the A46 Western Bypass too, giving access to Coventry and beyond. With over 150 EV charging points nearby, it's well-sorted for electric cars. The village's centrepiece is Groby Pool, a 25-acre fishing lake carved from old quarry workings.
