Greystoke

Greystoke is a small Cumbrian market town in the Eden Valley, reached via the A66 from M6 Junction 40 then local roads. Popular routes include drives from Keswick (25km) and Penrith (12km), plus shorter trips from Ullswater villages. The town serves as a base for exploring the quieter northeastern Lakes, with over 20 EV charging points available. Greystoke Castle, home to the Howard family for six centuries, towers over the town with its medieval pele tower and Victorian extensions.
