Grenville is a tiny farming town in northeastern South Dakota, home to just 53 residents. Located on Highway 15 near the Minnesota border, it's about 45 miles east of Aberdeen via Highway 12. The surrounding prairie landscape is devoted to corn, soybean, and wheat farming. The town's post office is one of the smallest in South Dakota and serves as an unofficial community center during winter storms.
