Greenstead Green

Greenstead Green lies in rural Essex between Halstead and Earls Colne, reached via the A131 from either Chelmsford or Sudbury. Most visitors arrive from London via the M25, A12, and A120, whilst locals use the B1024 for village-to-village travel. The village green retains its original character, surrounded by traditional cottages displaying the intricate pargeting plasterwork typical of Essex vernacular architecture.
