Graythorp

Graythorp occupies a coastal position in County Durham between the Tees estuary and North Sea, forming part of the greater Hartlepool conurbation. The A178 provides primary access along the coast, whilst the A689 connects westward to Bishop Auckland. Long-distance visitors typically use the A19, exiting at junctions 61 or 62. The area boasts over 100 public fast EV charging points across the Hartlepool region. Graythorp houses one of Britain's largest chemical processing complexes, operating continuously since the 1960s.
