Gravir

Gravir perches on Lewis's eastern coast in the Outer Hebrides, reached by ferry to Stornoway then a scenic 25-kilometre drive via the A859 through moorland and crofting country. The single-track roads with passing places connect this remote settlement to neighbouring villages like Calbost and Marvig, whilst longer journeys require careful planning given limited facilities. Traditional fishing boats still work the waters of Loch Erisort from the village's shoreline.
