Grangecon sits along the N81 in County Wicklow, about 45 minutes southwest of Dublin and perfectly placed for accessing the southern counties. The village makes a handy stop between Dublin and Carlow, with good connections via the M50 at Junction 7 near Citywest. The area draws plenty of golfers heading to championship courses like Rathsallagh and the K Club, while nearby Casement Aerodrome keeps its link to Irish military aviation alive, having served as the Air Corps headquarters since its days as Baldonnel Airfield in 1917.
