Granby

Granby is a small Vale of Belvoir village on the Nottinghamshire-Leicestershire border, reached via minor roads from the A52. The surrounding countryside supports farming and market gardens, with gentle rolling hills extending toward the Leicestershire Wolds. Most visitors arrive from Nottingham (15 miles) or Leicester (25 miles), whilst local routes connect neighbouring villages like Harby and Stathern. The village church houses a rare 14th-century wooden knight's effigy.
