Gomshall is a Surrey Hills village on the A25 between Guildford and Dorking, easily reached via the A3 from London then A25 eastbound. Weekend visitors come for countryside walks, whilst locals use it as a convenient stop between market towns. The village sits in the Tillingbourne valley with chalk downs on either side, and boasts one of England's oldest working watermills, still grinding corn after 900 years.
