Goldston is a tiny town of about 380 people in Chatham County, roughly 30 miles southwest of Raleigh via US Highway 1 and NC 902. The rural Piedmont setting offers rolling hills and a quiet escape from Triangle-area traffic. Most visitors arrive from I-40 or US 64, while locals commute daily to Raleigh and Cary along these same routes. The town's restored 1920s railway depot serves as both museum and community gathering place.
