Godleybrook lies in the Staffordshire countryside northeast of Stoke-on-Trent, accessible via the A520 from the pottery towns or A521 from Leek. The former mining area sits amongst gentle hills typical of the southern Pennines, with over 70 EV charging points serving the region. The preserved pithead baths at nearby Chatterley Whitfield still contain the original numbered hooks where miners once hung their clothes.
