Glinsk, County Mayo

Glinsk sits along the N84 between Castlebar and Galway, about 25 kilometers southeast of the county town. It's handy agricultural country with small farms scattered between stone walls, and you'll find Lough Carra nearby, famous for its crystal-clear limestone waters and brilliant brown trout fishing that draws anglers from all over. The N84 gives you the main route through, with the N83 from Tuam joining up just south of the village if you're coming from that direction.
