Glinsk sits about 25 kilometres northeast of Galway city in the heart of County Galway, making it a handy crossroads for exploring the west. The most direct route from Galway follows the N84 through Headford, while Dublin drivers take the M6 to Athlone then the N63 and N84 for about 180 kilometres total.
