Glandore

Ireland

Ireland

Glandore is a small West Cork village on a sheltered bay along the Wild Atlantic Way, about 80 kilometres southwest of Cork city via the N71 through Clonakilty. The harbour features two tiny islands, Adam and Eve, connected by a causeway that locals say inspired Jonathan Swift's Lilliput when he visited in the early 1700s. It's easily reached from Skibbereen (15km) or Clonakilty (25km), with decent EV charging options for those touring the coast. West Cork Distillers and the Model Railway Village are worth a stop.
