Glais

Glais lies in the Swansea Valley, just 2km north of the city centre along the A4067. This former mining village sits where the valley narrows towards the Brecon Beacons, making it a natural gateway for trips into Mid Wales. Local routes serve nearby communities like Trebanos, whilst the M4 at Junction 45 provides motorway access. The village sits beneath Kilvey Hill, where the old tinplate works once employed much of the community.
